Large Offering of Canada Post New Issue Service Material, 1983 to 2014, plus additional stamps ranging back to the 5c period. The consignor was a long-time subscriber to Canada Post's Philatelic Service and the lot consists mostly of a plate block of four and a single of every issue in the period, plus numerous additional souvenir sheets and booklets. We have opened most of the mailers the material came in for the first time, and our face value above was calculated by adding up the invoices in the mailers. The over 200 'P'-stamps in this lot were added into the total using the values they were originally purchased at; the total face value would be considerably higher if their current value was considered. The total face value that was found in Philatelic Service mailers was $3,464. For the remaining, older stamps, only the 17c and higher values were counted. Overall very fine. (Image)

Most of the opened packs were missing a few stamps, but had additional duplicates added. Note; there will also be additional value because of the rising value of 'P' stamps, as our total is based on the issue prices of 'P' stamps at the time. Outer packaging is generally in very good condition. (Image)
