'The Royal Philatelic Collection' edited by Sir John Wilson (1952), being a complete catalogue of the most important and valuable stamp collection ever formed, compiled by the Keeper of the Royal Collection himself. Without doubt, this is the finest philatelic book of all time, produced on the highest-quality paper, extensively illustrated with 64 black & white plates and 12 exceptional colour plates, the spine faded by sunlight, a couple of dings on the cover & very minor spotting at the edge of the pages. This is the deluxe edition bound in red Morocco leather with the Royal coat-of-arms emblazoned in gold on the face, with the slipcase as issued.

'The Work of Jean de Sperati' by the British Philatelic Association (Second Edition, 1956) comprising "Part I: The Text", hardbound 216pp, very fine; and "Part II: The Plates", 152 single-sided pages in a matching Frank Godden binder as issued, the plates very fine, the binder showing some wear. Number '168' of 500. The complete record of the forgeries, proofs etc acquired by the BPA directly from the master-forger, making this an important volume for all dealers & auction houses and a must-have for the ardent bibliophile. [Superior quality to the set sold at the Prestige auction of 13.6.2009 for $1864] (Qty 2 volumes)
