1852: 25 cent black on chamois, vertical strip of 6, together with 5 cent black on green and 15 cent black on yellow, all tied by mute six bar killer to a fragment of a letter. Very rare unit in F/VF condition. An exceptional and decorative show piece. Signed and certificate Alberto Diena (1967).
Largest unit Sassone values is a strip of five (10.000 € used, 50.000 € on letter) ÷ 1852: 25 centesimi nero su camoscio, striscia verticale di sei, con a 5 cententesimi nero su verde e 15 centesimi nero su giallo, il tutto annullato con muto a sei sbarre su frammento di una lettera. Unità molto rara in condizione perfetti. Un pezzo eccezionale e decorativo. Firmato e certificato Alberto Diena (1967). 1859, 20 cents dark violet, block of four, mint with gum, well margined, from the bottom right corner of the sheet. A lot of signatures, e.g. Emilio and Alberto Diena, Giulio Bolaffi, Sorani with certificate Dr. Enzo Diena (1992). Sassone 30.000€ (2018) ÷ 1859, 20 centesimi violetto scuro, blocco di quattro, nuovo con gomma, ben marginato, dall' angolo del foglio in basso a destra.
