1898 (June 3) Printed stationery receipt for registered letter services between Mazagan and Marrakesh, very rare first type only used in 1898 and with the words "Mazagan e Marrakesh" printed in small upright antic lettering, the receipt cancelled with bilingual "Mazagan" cds, hand dated July 3, signed by Alberto C. 1898 (June 24) Mazagan-Marrakech Local Post 20c lake on rose buff stationery postcard from Marrakech to Germany redirected twice inland to Wiesbaden and Königsberg, cancelled by "Marrakesh" cds, with Mazagan cds adjacent, both in violet, showing British "Mazagan-Morocco" and Tangier and cds's alongside, in combination with Morocco Agencies 1898 10c tied by "A26" obliterator and two German arrival cds's, carried via Gibraltar with small cds in centre; illustrated on page 75 of the "Il Novellario" encyclopedic catalogue of the "Posta in Italia" by Unificato, vol. 2. 1940 (March 27) Airmail cover to Rome, franked with 50 cents violet and 1.25 lire blue, locally overprinted by hand "R.S.R.T.-P.A. / Italiana / Tangeri" horizontally on the 50 cent stamp and vertically on the 1.25 lire stamp, two values used on an envelope, tied with a "R. Stazione R.T. /Tangeri - 27 Mar. 1940", minor toning to parts of stamp perfs, which do not detract from the significance and importance of this exceedingly rare cover; one of very few examples that have a locally applied handwritten overprint.
