1961, 205l rose lilac "Gronchi Rosa", never hinged, commemorating the South American visit of President Giovanni Gronchi, with the border between Peru and Ecuador incorrectly drawn, a desirable error, scarce and very fine.

The controversial stamp was withdrawn soon after issue and replaced two days later with a corrected version in grey, but not before some examples of the error made their way into public hands.
