1933 - Balbo North America flight ‘Volo di Ritorno’ I-VERC triptic,  and horizontal pair of U.S. ½ tied on cover-dated July 23rd from New York to Rome. Very fine and rare example of the famed ‘3 cents’ US cover used on the return-flight of the Balbo squad during the 1933 Decennial Air Cruise.
