Both adhesives are cancelled in Marseille with the large numerals '2240' in lozenge of large dorts postmark in black, a great rarity on this issue with only two other covers recorded until now, according to the Sassone Specialised catalogue, superb condition and by far the most impressive of the (now) three covers known bearing this postmark on stamp of this issue, considering its uncommon destination and colourful franking, an OUTSTANDING SHOWPIECE IN ALL RESPECTS. The stamps are tied by the number cancel "206", accompanied by an cds "ROMA * RACCOM. *". Certificate Bottacchi. The largest multiple (by far) known of this classic of the Italian area. An exceptional important item in Italian philately. ÷ 1887, sehr großes Briefstück aus einer eingeschriebenen Wertsendung von Rom nach Deutschland ("Deutsche Bank").
