Channel Islands Unused Mint Never Hinged New Issues 1997-2014Many hundred stamps, souvenir sheets, booklets, some full sheets in about (175)+ new issue envelopes from Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. These cover a period of about 1997-2014. There is some very light, useful duplication in spots. Plus then there dozens of glassines with many of the pre-1997 period complete booklets going back to the start of when entities started issuing stamps. The mass majority of these mailers cost over £10 pounds a piece with many being £20-30 pounds or more. This collector must have spent thousands of dollars on these issues and then never put them away. This would make an extensive dealer stock of these issues. It also may be the compliment to the collection of Channel Islands found in White Ace volumes elsewhere in this auction that stops at 1996. Both are well worth consideration. This lot should be worth at least a bid of $600 and at that it's probably a small fraction of what was originally paid. (Image)
