British Commonwealth, 1840-1898, a mostly used collection, including Great Britain (catalog value 14,000+), Antigua, Australian States, Bahamas ($1300), Barbados ($600+), Bermuda, British Guiana, British Honduras, Canada and Provinces ($6500), Cape of Good Hope ($1800), Ceylon ($1100), Dominica, Fiji, Gambia, Gibraltar, Gold Coast, Grenada, Heligoland, Hong Kong ($1010), India ($500+), Jamaica ($560+), Lagos, Malta ($1300+), Mauritius ($500+), Natal ($400+), Nevis, New Zealand ($2700+), St. Christopher, St. Helena, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Sierra Leone; all in mounts in a Scott album. In mixed condition, including imperfs cut close (the Great Britain Penny Black for example has 3 margins), but many appear to be without faults, and this includes the key value of the collection, the Great Britain 1878 10s (Scott #74, Fine used, catalog value $3,750 - it shows no faults when dipped in fluid). British Commonwealth, 1841-1998, an assortment of country collections in hingeless albums, including Great Britain 1841-1996 in a Schaubek album, Australia 1913-95 also in a Schaubek album, and Canada 1859-1998 in 4 Davo albums (volume 4 is pages only). There is excellent coverage of modern issues (mint and used, the Great Britain mostly used); issues pre-1953 are more sparse and mainly used. A nice lot to build upon, the albums alone have considerable retail value and are mostly quite nice (the exception being a few somewhat toned pages in volume 1 of Canada), the stamps are generally Fine to Very Fine and attractive, with much never hinged.
