Unusual Postal History group with NSW 1½d Postal Cards x2 (one punctured 'OS/NSW') both to Finland, Queensland 1909 to GB with Townsville black/white R label, South Australia 1907 PPC to Denmark forwarded to Belgium & Postage Due paid, Tasmania letter sheet with 1d punctured 'T' & Letter Card with Large View 'LAKE HARTZ' uprated to Austria, Western Australia 1896 & 1898 registered covers to Germany, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.

Used group on album leaves including Tasmania imperfs with 1853 Couriers 4d x2 (one with full large margins, ironed-out crease), and Chalons to 1/-; Victoria Half-Lengths 1d rose-pink (full margins) & 3d, Queen-on-Throne to 6d including 2d pair, Emblems to 4d, 1/- 'REGISTERED' Imperf on-piece, Laureates 10d grey; WA to 10/- mauve; etc, condition mixed.

Postal History group noted Victoria 1862 with 4d Emblem & 1873 inwards from GB each with different Melbourne 'UNCLAIMED' cachets, 1885 to Germany with ½d rose & 8d pink, bundle of Dept of Lands mail with Melbourne 'PAID' cancels, various instructional markings, Half Lengths 2d and 3d + 6d Woodblock both on large pieces, etc, also NSW mostly stationery including Scenic View cards, Specimen overprints and 1894 circular with 1d & 2d 'OS' overprints (stained), then a few Picture Postcards including real photo types, condition variable but many fine.

1937 Coronation Omnibus Issues Aden to Virgin Islands sets punctured 'SPECIMEN', some perf faults & other small defects and the gum a little tropicalised, unmounted (though we noted a few with small adhesions). Inspection strongly recommended. The only such Omnibus set we have seen offered.
