The top copy is ex Ernest Brown, Colonel Harry Napier, John Griffiths and Barton Sparrow. The bottom copy is ex Ferrary Auction Sale 7 Lot 107 where it is mentioned ''Perforation in complete, the sheet margin had been lightly perforated'', bought at the auction by Mr. Caspary for 19.000 francs, by Mr. John Boker. There are only those two copies unused in private hands and 6 used copies in existence. It is the first time in the Philately that this pair had been re-jointing. It is considered as a world class rarity and one of the Crown Jewels of British Empire Philately. (Image)
