1854 Penny BlackRouletted 1d black SG 2 horizontal pair with rouletting clear of the design on all sides and between, light Void Grids in black, Cat £1500+.
1854-55 Lithographs Imperf 4d slate-blue SG 3c marginal example from the left of the sheet with margins good to huge, light numeral cancel, Cat £1300. Ex Alfred Caspary. A gem!
1854-55 Lithographs Imperf 1/- grey-brown SG 4b an unusually large example from the left of the sheet with vertical watermark lines, Cat £400. [There are traces of rouletting on three sides but not enough to persuade us that this is a genuinely rouletted stamp]
1857-59 Hillman Lithographs Imperf 2d brown-black/red SG 15, margins just touched - at left - to huge with a chunk of the adjoining unit at the base, light Void Grid in black, Cat £550. Ex H Gordon Kaye. RPSofL Certificate (1951).
