The 4a. tied by a manuscript line in red, with Initials of the sender below the 2½a. adhesive, which was tied by "MOMBASA/OC 10/97" cds, and '1 Nov 97' arrival cds on the reverse, fine. The Uganda 4a. paid the local postage only (as the country not being a member of the UPU at that time), while the BEA stamp paid the BEA internal and external postage to England. P. Holcombe cert.
