FEB. 1899 ENV. FROM KAMPALA TO SHEFFIELD VIA MOMBASA: Somewhat dishevelled, roughly opened with small tears, folds and stains. Franked with 1896 Typographed issue 1a & 3a SG 55 & 57. The 3a is damaged and creased, but the 1a value has escaped damage. Nevertheless, so rare to find on cover (SG state 20x premium). Manuscript endorsement "J.
