Tristan da Cunha: 1930 to 1934, four stampless islanders' covers addressed to Mrs. C. Dent in Devon, each with 11/2d. due mark and with G.B. 1/2d. and 1d. postage dues affixed and cancelled by Axminster c.d.s's, one sent during the 'no cachet' period in 1932 with ms. endorsement "Tristan da Cunha/South Atlantic" and despatched on the "King William", the others showing type V cachet, the first in violet and sent in 1930 on the "Monsunen", the second in black and sent in 1932 on the "Carlisle", the last in blue and sent in 1934 on the "Ponape". The addressee, Mrs. Charles Henry Dent was a supporter of the islanders whom she aided by means of gift parcels. (Image1)
