1930 (May 26) Canadian National Steamships envelope airmail to Canada with KGV Britannia 1d 3d & 1/- x2 tied by GPO cds also tying early red/white airmail etiquette, carried by PanAm FAM-5/6 'Lindbergh Circle' service to Miami and onwards by domestic airmail, 'HALIFAX N.S./MY1/30/CANADA' (error for June 1) arrival b/s, a couple of minor blemishes. [Canadian National operated its West Indies service with a fleet of five luxury liners named after the wives of British Admirals who had served in the Caribbean & were thus known as the 'Lady Boats']
1940 registered airmail cover to Australia with KGVI $1.20 tied 'POINT-A-PIERRE/27MAY40' cds, red & black R label and 'NORTH ATLANTIC ROUTE' cachet in red alongside for carriage by PanAm Clipper service via USA to England, London oval 'O.A.T.' in violet for Onwards Air Transmission by Horseshoe Route via ship to South Africa and BOAC/Qantas Flying Boat service to Australia, Sydney '24JY40' transit and 'POST OFFICE/25/JUL/1940/ CESSNOCK,N.S.W.' arrival b/s, a couple of minor blemishes. [Carried on the fourth Durban-Sydney service Proud NE4 per Ceres & Corsair arriving one day earlier than stated in Proud]
