Great Northern Railway: machine 'TPO 1 NORTH/SP13 - UP A ' on PPC from Emmaville to Sydney & '.../SP6 - UP B ' on cover from Dalby (Qld) to Sydney. Both rated 9 (of 10) by Richard Peck.

Great Northern Railway: 'G N R P/MY1/1876/-N S W-' (22mm double-circle, 1mm arcs; LRD) largely very fine strike at left & 'GNRP/NSW' (16mm; undated) largely fine cancel on 1d Postal Card, unframed 'WEST MAITLAND' arrival cds also on the face, message headed "M'rundi" (= Murrurundi). Unlisted by Peck. [Peck records only one double-circle, between OC30/1876 & OC2/1882. We expect both dates are for the 20mm cds: see next lot. We have recorded the 22mm cds from DE20/1875]

Great Northern Railway: 'TPO 1 NORTH/OC9 UP B - NSW/1909' light but very fine machine b/s on cover from Queensland to Sydney. Peck rated 9: LRD for code 'B'. [Recorded for 2½ months only]

Great Southern Railway: Unframed 'TPO/No 1 S/ A ' fine cancel & oval 'TRAVELLING POST S[OUTH]/OC17/98/NSW' fine b/s on 1d Waratah Postal Card Thirlmere-Goulburn, mss "Late fee" crossed-through & 'MORE TO PAY' h/s applied, minor blemishes. Believed to be the only recorded example on cover.
Great Southern Railway: 'TRAVELLING POST SOUTH/DE27/04/NSW' oval d/s on Arms 1d x2 paying 1d late fee on 'Town Hall Sydney' postcard to "Mokoan PO, via Glenrowan" Victoria with message "... leaving for Glenrowan on Thurs Dec 29th by Express 7.50pm arriving ... 9.40 on Friday ...", minor blemishes.

Southern & Western Railway: 28mm 'TPO S&WR/A/UP/ 1 23SP/84 1 /=Q.L=' plus similar 'TPO S&WR/A/DOWN/ 2 SP25/84 2 /Q.L' & 'TPO S&WR/DOWN/ 4 SP25/84 4 /Q.L' largely fine to very fine transit backstamps on Victorian OHMS Franked lettersheet without additional postage as required but not taxed, to 'YULEBA' (b/s) & redirected to Toowong. An extraordinary cover!
Southern & Western Railway: '--------/P 7FE13/TPO 1 S&WR' (cut-down relief; probably 'POSTAGE PAID' removed) two large-part strikes on 1d pair. Hugh Campbell states "Two examples dated in February 1913 are known". [The original state has not been recorded]
