MISCELLANY INCLUDING SCARCE EARLY PIN-PERF TYPE, UNUSUAL CANCEL & 1878 COVER, ETC:: Fine mint example of 1859 (1d) rose-red pin-perf 13½-14, with 1952 RPSL Cert., SG 38 (£250), fine used example of 1857 (1d) rose-red imperf. cancelled by boxed "2" (receiving house?) SG 12 and 1882 6d green with red manuscript surcharge in strip of 3 on piece dated 2 Oct 1882 (SG 104). Also, 9 Oct. 1878 EL to Bordeaux bearing 6d green.
