Mint group in ancient small ledger book including many unmounted and in larger blocks noted 1887 2/- block of 6, 1883-99 3d marginal block of 16, 6d block of 12, 1894-1904 Tannenberg 2½d block of 12 & 5d block of 12 with '1' plate number, Long Toms Crown/SA wmk, Thick 'POSTAGE' 6d pair with extra row of perforations below 'SOUTH' officially repaired with selvedge and L/L corner block of 4, 10d blocks of 4 and 6, Crown/A 3d blocks of 8 and 12, 4d block of 10, 6d block of 8, 8d block of 12, 9d & 1/- blocks of 8, a few used also, plus Australia KGV War Savings 6d blue x4 (one faulty), Cat £2,500+.

Small Format Definitives mostly mint selection including 'HALF-/PENNY' on 1d Perf 10 block of 54, '2½d' on 4d with Closer Fraction, 6d x9, Post Office ½d block of 4 plus imperf plate proof pairs in black & three shades of green, 2½d imperf plate proof block of 4 in violet-blue, etc, a few are CTO; also selection of fiscally used to 2/- x6 & Duty Stamp $20 used x13; condition generally fine to very fine.

1855 London Printings 2d rose-carmine SG 2 horizontal strip of 5, margins close to large with a fragment of the adjoining unit at right, untidy Diamond Numeral cancels, Cat £425+. A very scarce multiple.
1876-1900 Broad Star '8 PENCE' on 9d grey-brown SG 121 marginal block of 6 (3x2) from the left of the sheet, virtually full o.g. with five units being unmounted, Cat £1200++ for mounted singles. Ex Colonel Harry Napier, John Griffiths and Michael Blake: sold at the Prestige auction of 7.2.2014 for $1035.
1876-1900 Broad Star 9d rose-lilac SG 123 marginal block of 16 (4x4) from the top of the sheet, some tonespots mostly in the margin, full unmounted o.g., Cat £480++ for mounted singles.
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' 2/6d & 5/- perforated plate proof corner blocks of 10 (5x2) on gummed unwatermarked paper in lilac with the value printed in blue or red respectively & unissued thus, each with Plate Number '1' at U/R, full unmounted o.g. Superb! [Ed Williams stated that probably only one sheet of 60 each was printed. He had only singles]

1894 Tannenberg imperforate colour trials on gummed unwatermarked paper comprising 2½d blocks of 12 (3x4) in four different colours (one with Plate Number '1' at L/L) & a stunning block of 16 (4x4) in ultramarine endorsed "DLR Colln" in the margin, and 5d blocks of 12 in olive (with Plate Number '1' at U/R) or ultramarine & an irregular block of 16 (4x5, missing the U/L corner block of 4) endorsed "DLR Colln" in the margin, full unmounted o.g.

1902-04 Thin 'POSTAGE' 1/- brown vertical pair Imperf Between & at the Base ACSC #S30bb (SG 275b), the gum aged which has slightly stained the left side of the pair, Cat $2500 (£2750). Ex 'Tamiami': sold for $US1020. [This is almost certainly the error listed in the ACSC, with the lower margin removed. However, it is possible that it is from a different position on another sheet, which would make it an unrecorded error]
1904-11 Thick 'POSTAGE' Crown/SA 6d to £1 SG 284-292 plus 8d 15¼mm Value, listed shades of the 8d 9d 2/6d & 5/-, a few minor gumside blemishes, many lightly to very lightly mounted & the 10/- is unmounted; also 6d & 9d blocks of 4 (the lower units unmounted); and Small Holes 9d 5/- & £1 SG 286b 290b & 292a (BW #S53C, #S66 unmounted & #S70 unmounted); Cat £1600+ ($2000+ mounted). Unlisted & possibly unique. Ex 'Tamiami': sold for US$4200. [The ACSC records one single from the top of the pane imperf at top & roughly separated. It is almost certainly related to this item]
