No 306 / POSTAGE-FREE", backstamped F.P.O 306 c.d.s. A fine cover from the Commander in Chief of the Allied Forces in East Africa (and later Prime Minister of South Africa), to his daughter on the family farm in the Transvaal. Photo on Page 190.
