1907 Large Canoes ½d to 1/- imperforate plate proofs in issued colours on ungummed unwatermarked paper, all but the 2½d are marginal examples from the left of the sheets. Superb! [Superior to Sir Gawaine Baillie's set that sold in 2007 for £207]

1907 Large Canoes ½d to 1/- SG 1-7 mint set with large-part o.g., Cat £275; plus set of forgeries all but the 1d with large-part o.g. & a second set with fake 'MUNIA' cds. [On the originals, the canoe's oar does not touch the shore & the gum has a high gloss. On the forgeries the oar does touch the shore & the gum has a low gloss finish]

1907 Large Canoes ½d SG 1 marginal block of 4 from the top of the sheet Imperforate at Top, large-part o.g. RPSofL Certificate (1996). Ex John Williams (UK): sold at the Prestige auction of 6.3.2010 for $2097. [Absent from John Darnell's & Sir Gawaine Baillie's collections. Baillie's ½d block (4x2) Imperforate at Right sold for £1380 at auction in Jan 2007]
1913 KGV 'POSTAGE - POSTAGE' master die proof of the KGV Design & Frame in black on glazed card with 'AFTER/STRIKING' handstamp at L/L & endorsed '{signature}/10 12 19". Superb! [A curious proof. The 'POSTAGE - POSTAGE' series was issued in 1913 & was replaced in 1914 with the 'POSTAGE - REVENUE' series]
1914 KGV 'POSTAGE - REVENUE' 2d to £1 stamp-size die proofs of the Value & Country tablets only in black on separate pieces of glazed card affixed to two pieces of thin rough card endorsed "120 leads each" & dated variously between "Feb 26" & "Mar 28", the 1/- 2/- 10/- & £1 with characteristic red ink markings & both pieces then dated "April 22nd 1914", plus similar proofs for the ½d & 1d. [NB: The ½d & 1d were issued first, by early March 1914. The 2d to £1 were issued in July 1914. The 3d wasn't issued until 1923]

1982-88 Issues group of imperforate plate proofs comprising Sanford's Sea Eagle strip of 6, 1982 Scouts on small pieces, 1983 Turtles & Olympic Games, 1985 Audubon M/S, 1987 Corals & Kingfisher strip of 4, and 1988 Lloyd's of London, all but the Scouts affixed within folders as received from the various printers. Very attractive thematics. [Some with the issued sets for comparison]
