Saint Helena: 1879 cover to England from the future Rear Admiral John William Brackenbury aboard H.M.S. “Shah”, addressed to his fiancŽe Francis Mary Francklyn whom he married on Feb. 9 1880, franked by G.B. 1873-77 1s. green plate 13 KJ, tied by “B 16” barred oval of the Plymouth-Bristol T.P.O., with T.P.O. c.d.s. on the reverse. Brackenbury was in command of the Naval brigade on board serving under Captain Bradshaw commanding the “Shah”. Photo. (Image1)
