1862 EMBLEMS 1/- GREEN BLOCK OF EIGHT WITH- KD IN CIRCLE VARIETY USED ON COVER; 1/- green plate 2, a rare block of eight KA-LD with the rare KD in circle variety plainly visible, used on E from London to Lima Peru via Panama with an additional 3 dinars local delivery rate. The block was folded around the top of the cover resulting in the upper strip not being fully cancelled. However during transit a very small amount of black ink was deposited upon the upper row.
