Packet including 1872 with large 'P' h/s of Port Lincoln, 1881 to Germany with 9d violet, 1896 internal registered with 'O.S.' 2d & 4d, 1899 usage of German Postal Card with 2½d added, 1902 registered to USA, 1905 Education Department registered cover with 5d perf 'SA', 1928 from Cuba with 1d Postage Due strip of 3, 3d Registration Envelope with 8d added & CTO, undated 1d OS Wrapper front to Mauritius uprated with 'O.S.' ½d & 1d, several with 'PAQUEBOT' or 'LOOSE SHIP LETTER' markings, etc, condition variable but those mentioned are fine to very fine.
Large box of mostly PPCs with duplicated squared-circles & cds, pretty ordinary but lots of them; also 1984 philatelic covers x100 approximately.

1861 cover endorsed "PO Pt MacDonnell/16 May 1861" at upper-left, to North Adelaide with Rouletted 2d & manuscript cancel of four lines, 'MOUNT GAMBIER' transit & GPO arrival b/s. [The PO opened early-1861. No postmarks are recorded before March 1862]
1894 two homemade wrappers to "Savings Bank/Adelaide" endorsed "Passbook only/from JH White Oodla Wirra" or ".../HE White Oodla Wirra", each with DLR Perf 15 2d bisect tied by light but obvious 'OODLA WIRRA' squared-circle, the latter with a minor stain. A remarkable pair. Separate RPSofV Certificates (2011).
NORTHERN TERRITORY: c.1912 stampless NZ PPC to "B Tennant Esq/Batchelor's Experimental Farm/Northern Territory/ Queensland" (!) with NZ 'TO PAY/1d' h/s, redirected to "c/- Dr Huxtable/Ch Towers" (= Charters Towers Qld), corner bend. [In 1911, three experimental farms were established, one at Batchelor. Less than three years later, the government moved to shut down the farms at Batchelor and Daly River because of mismanagement]
Collector's untidy array of duplicates with many handy items noted including a few imperfs, unused 'TEN PENCE' on 9d yellow, modern reprints of 2/- "die proof", lots of middle period including numerous 'O.S.' Overprints, "Long Toms" including 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' 10/- & Thin 'POSTAGE' mint to 10/-, multiples, commercial perfins to 2/-, a few Revenues, small 'POSTAL CUSTOMS/SOUTH AUSTRALIA/Passed...' label, 'REPRINT' & 'SPECIMEN' Overprints including £4 yellow, etc, also several Departmentals forgeries & a page of numeral cancels, condition variable but generally fine to very fine. Inspection is sure to be rewarded.

Small album with a good range of "Long Toms" including 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' 5/- *&U and 10/- U x2, later mint to 5/- & a few CTO to 5/-, punctured 'SA' mint 2/6d & 5/- (both **), punctured 'OS' 2/6d x2 & 5/-, other issues with numerous 'O.S.' Overprints including a few varieties, generally fine to very fine. Close inspection recommended.

Old-time selection rehoused on stock pages with Imperf 2d blood-red, 6d & 1/- orange, handy Roulettes, some later mint to 2/- including '8 PENCE' on 9d, etc, condition rather mixed.

1860-69 Second Roulettes 'TEN PENCE' in Blue on 9d red-orange SG 35 with Overprint Sub-Type 4 ('N' of 'TEN' close to horizontal), cut from the sheet to centre the design, large-part o.g., Cat £500. Ex Michael Blake.

1868-76 De La Rue selection of proofs comprising 1d die proof on glazed card with 'July 25 1874' & 'AFTER HARDENING' handstamps, 1d plate proof in black imperf block of 6 with Plate Number '2', 1d plate proof in green imperf block of 4 & Perf 14 block of 24 (12x2), and 2d plate proof in orange block of 24 (12x2) from the top of the sheet with Plate Number '2' at U/L & U/R. OFFICIAL STAMPS: Selection on stockcard including Type 1 'O.S.' 6d Prussian blue & 6d bright blue both with part-o.g.; and 'G.T.' Overprint of Goolwa Tramways in Red on 4d dull purple with faults but very attractive & with large-part o.g. and RPSofV Certificate (1979); also Thick 'POSTAGE' Crown/A 5/- very fine mint; etc.

OFFICIAL STAMPS: Partly sorted/annotated array of 'SA' punctures including mint 5/- x3 & £1 x2 plus a few errors and Plate Numbers, also 'OS' punctures including mint 9d x2 & 5/- x2, etc, a few problems noted but generally fine to very fine & some of the mint stamps are unmounted. A very scarce lot, with excellent research potential.
