Album of mostly ordinary covers & Postal Stationery but including several Imperf 2d frankings (two with 'TOO LATE' h/s), 1875 to Scotland with 9d violet pair, 1891 (May 19) pre-UPU 2½d rate to Wales, 1892 registered to London with 1d x3 & Perf 10 2½d on 4d pair, 1891 uprated 1d Postal Card to Germany, 1898 OHMS with 'O.S.' 1d Perf 15 pair, etc, condition rather mixed.

1856 coastal shipping cover to Port Lincoln "Per Bandicoot" with London Printing 2d rose-carmine SG 2 (slight bend at upper-right otherwise very fine), dumb cancel & 'PAID/JA21/1856/=ADELAIDE SA=' cds in red, no arrival b/s. A neat little First Issue cover.
1862 (Sep 29) entire with Rouletted 1d pair (folded-over the top of the cover) & 'PORT-AUGUSTA' cds, 'MELROSE' b/s & light 'UNCLAIMED' h/s, with the Adelaide Dead Letter Office 'RETURNED PAID LETTER' Envelope in which it was sent back to the sender, minor blemishes.

1899 (Nov 6) OPSO cover with 'Police Commissioner's Office' imprint at lower-left, to British Guiana with rare franking of Perf 10 '5D.' on 6d brown overprinted 'O.S.' SG O72 (Cat £18 x50+ on cover) tied by GPO cds, 'VICTORIA/BC' squared-circle transit b/s & 'GEORGETOWN/DEC29/B.GUIANA' arrival b/s, central fold & minor repaired tears at the top well clear of the stamp. Ex Anthony Presgrave. A remarkable destination & stated to be one of only three covers recorded with this stamp.
1910Commonwealth Meteorological Bureau OHMS mourning cover to Melbourne with Long Type 4d punctured 'OS' paying 2d per ½oz rate x2 tied by Adelaide cds of SE6/10, Melbourne Letter Carrier Room arrival b/s.
POSTMARKS: Diamond-Numeral '260' of Franklin Harbour very fine strike on apparently Imperf 6d slate-blue. Rated RRRR. [Considering that Franklin Harbour opened only in 1867 & Roulettes were introduced from 1858, this stamp has almost certainly had roulettes trimmed-off]
