Philatelic covers with good range of CDS including 1929 with 'GIZO/BRITISH SOLOMON IDS' & similarly inscribed R label, 1935 from Gizo with 30mm cds & scarce 'BRIT SOLOMON ISLANDS/GIZO' R label, 1946 with rubber Honiara cds & boxed R cachet, 1944 & 1945 (OHMS) both with 'LUNGA' cds, 1931 with 'SHORTLAND ISLD' & 1938 with the same cds & boxed 'SHORTLAND' R cachet, 1934 'VANIKORO', 1944 superb 'MUNDA', 1949 Opening Day of Gizo using 'MUNDA' cds, etc, a few better stamps including KGV 2/- & QEII 2/6d, generally fine to very fine. 1935 KGV Silver Jubilee frankings including with 1½d x3 and blue 'R/TULAGI/...' label (minor fault); with 1½d & 3d and black '.../GIZO/R.No.659' label; two covers to Scotland with 'SHORTLAND ISLAND' cds one with 1½d (oxidised) & the other with 6d (scarce but overpaid); to France with 3d single (scarce foreign letter rate); to Canada with 1½d and unframed 'PAQUEBOT' cachet; to Sydney with 1½d tied Brisbane '1935/20MAY' slogan cancel and boxed 'PAQUEBOT' cachet; Voyce cover with 1½d tied 'KIETA-1JE36/NEW GUINEA', etc, also a few loose stamps with cancels including 'VANIKORO/31DE35' [Last Day of Issue], 'RABAUL/16JL35/NEW GUINEA' on piece and 'GIZO' forged cancels x4, condition mixed but generally fine.
