Ex Martin Frischauff. Exceptional advertising mail. ['Ginger Meggs' similar example sold at our auction of 3.3.2019 for $503]
PARCEL LABELS: 1946 KGVI 3/7d magenta large piece from a Myer food parcel label with Melbourne parcel cancel, redirected within England with white patches from where stamps for forwarding were subsequently removed, Cat $2000 for a complete label.
POSTAL CARDS - STAMPED TO ORDER: 1921-24 Star with 'POSTAGE' KGV 1d green ACSC #PS22 with 'CITY OF COBURG/Electric Supply' header on reverse, unused, Cat $400. Superb!
POSTAL CARDS - STAMPED TO ORDER: KGV Oval 1d green ACSC #PS23 stamped-to-order for The Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Australia, S.A. DISTRICT INC. with printed message on back re meeting, used 1937 to Rev Dr CF Graebner, Concordia College, Unley endorsed "Second-Class Matter" with fine 'ROSEDALE/19AP37/STH AUST' cds, one slightly bumped corner, Cat $200. [On 1.8.1930 the postcard rate was increased to 1½d each and 1d cards could be used only for the printed matter rate; the ACSC states these "... are scarcer than cards used for the postal card rate"]
