TEL-AVIV ON 25 AUG. 1939 airmail registered to Vienna with two15 mil and one 8 mil stamps. The addressee was the general consul at the British passport office in WIEN (Vienna) GERMANY. WIEN arrival postmark on back 31 Aug. one day before WW II STARTED! Pen note: '"consul gone away" also "PARTIā and ''zuruck -retour" handstamp. Has Palestine censor and arrival Jerusalem 15 SP 39 as return handstamp. It is worth noting that last flight from Palestine to Vienna was on 31.aug 39.
