1880 Platypus 1/- rose-pink SG F29 L/R corner block of 4 with Plate Number '1', the first unit with rounded U/L corner otherwise very fine with two of the other units unmounted, Cat £640++ (for mounted singles).
1900 'REVENUE' Overprints on Locally Printed Paltypus 1d blue horizontal pair Imperf Between SG F36b unused (no gum), with the Overprint Inverted & with the Overprint Double SG F36c & d both mint with large-part o.g., Cat £1075. The last with RPSofL Certificate (1994).
1893 'I. R.' Provisionals 'ONE PENNY', 'TWO PENCE' (with cds in violet), 'THREE PENCE', 'SIX PENCE' & 'THREE SHILLINGS' all with postal cancels. David Brandon Certificate (1984) for the last. [From 5.9.1893, values to 1/- became valid for postal purposes. Higher values were not authorised but were definitely used postally]

1893 Long Type CA/Crown group of 1890s registered pieces from bankers' packets with values including 2/6d, 5/- x2, 7/6d, 10/-, £1 & £1/10/- tied by various cancels, the £1 on large piece to "Union Bank of Australia Ltd" with 'R'-in-oval h/s & 'CUE/ AU28/96/WA', a few blemishes & some of the stamps have had fiscal cancels removed. A rare & desirable group, despite - or perhaps because of ! - the defrauding of the Post Office.
