GB: Folded letter written by Thomas Telford at London 25 JA 1833 to Sir John Wrottesley (MP for Staffordshire) at Wolverhampton, regarding difficulties related to a Canal being built, (letter mentions Lord Lichfield, Duke of Bridgewater, Lord Clive, etc), originally rated ms'10' but Postal Inspector underlined the 'Sir' on addressee and the charge was deleted, with same day double ring CROWN FREE cds despatch, light filing folds, still very fine and scarce.
