CORSINI CORRESPONDENCE: 1600 Early folded letter sent NO 16 from Amsterdam to Bartholomeo Corsini in London, with no postal or mileage markings as letter sent before any regular postal system was introduced. The letter would have been carried by messenger. This is one of a limited numbers of letters, as much of the Corsini Correspondence was destroyed in the great fire of London in 1666, very fine.
