1927 Opening of Federal Parliament House complete sheet of 80 CTO with large 'CANBERRA/9MY27/F.C.T.' cds ACSC #132w; also block of 40 stated to be from Plate 6 with Re-Entry on 'U' of 'AUSTRALIA'.

1927 Opening of Federal Parliament House 1½d lake vertical pair Imperforate Between ACSC #132b (SG #105a), better centred than most & fresh, lightly mounted upper unit, Cat $5000 (£5500). [The ACSC states "22 pairs have been identified as surviving including a block of 4 in the Royal Collection & a pair in the Australia Post Collection. Many of the recorded pairs are poorly centred and/or defective"].
1927 Opening of Federal Parliament House 1½d vertical pair Imperforate Between ACSC #132b (SG 105a), characteristic centring for this error, a couple of tiny tonespots, unmounted, Cat $5000+ (£5500+) mounted. [The ACSC states "22 pairs have been identified...[including] a block of 4 in the Royal Collection & a pair in the Australia Post Archives..." Most pairs have obvious faults. Arthur Grey's pair - minor crease at upper-left - sold for $5078. This is the only unmounted pair that we have recorded]

1932 Large LyrebirdChambon "essay" with 'AUSTRALIA' & 'ONE SHILLING' scored-through 1/- Blue and 1/- Bright Red BW #145PP(1)A & B, the bright red is a marginal example from the lower right corner of the sheet and includes a date handstamp 15. 6. 37, unmounted (small tone spot in margin of bright red), Cat $2500.
1935 Silver Jubilee 2d carmine an extremely deep & glossy shade, perfs at right trimmed-off, NSW cds. [The ACSC states "There was some experimentation with printing inks for the 2d value..." This is nothing like any of the shades listed in the ACSC but probably is from such a trial printing]
1938-49 DefinitivesPerf 15x14 3d purple-brown U/L corner block of 12 (3x4) with the left-hand units having Double Perfs on Three Sides, ACSC #196b, the impacted units are all unmounted, Cat $500++ (for mounted).
1948 Arms selection with £1 block of 4 **, imprint pairs ** & blocks of 4 */** the £2 with the Roller Flaw Retouched ACSC #271zc, etc; also 3d scarlet booklet panes of 6 x8 each with Weak Entry to Bottom Tablet #251da, Cat $3500+.

1953 QEII Coronation 3½d stamp-size photographic essays on thin card, three are unadopted designs dated "14.11.52" on the back, the last similar to the issued stamp & dated "8.1.53". Unlisted in the ACSC. [Although we know nothing of their origin, the fact that two designs utilise the portrait of the issued stamp, and the others use the embossed portrait for the new postal stationery, we are confident that they were produced by the Post Office]
