British Commonwealth, 1850-1964, dealer's stock of better issues, neatly arranged and identified on black retail cards, including Bahamas and Barbados ($2,645); British East Africa ($1,325); Canada & Provinces ($5,954); Cape of Good Hope ($1,950); Cyprus ($596); Falklands ($362); Great Britain ($2,705); Hong Kong ($116); India ($583); Ireland & Malta ($117); Natal & Nauru ($416); New Zealand ($3,252); North Borneo ($17); Rhodesia ($4,215); Saints & Trinidad ($760); Tristan Da Cunha ($76); Turks and Virgin Islands ($784).
There are numerous items cataloging $100 to $950. Among those cataloging $1,000 and up are: Newfoundland #13 used ($1,100), Prince Edward Island #1 unused without gum ($1,100) and Rhodesia #19 mint o.g. hinge remnant ($3,000).
Condition tends to be typical of the period: V.G.-Fine for 19th century, F.-V.F. for 20th century. There are small faults scattered through the 19th century issues. Many rare stamps here at a very reasonable price - all are imaged on the web,

Several items in this lot were NOT INCLUDED in the catalog value. These include: Bushire #N19 (possibly forged, catalog value $10,000); Great Britain #57 unused without gum, unusually small margins, reperfed on 3 sides (catalog value $11,000, probably worth about $300 as a curiosity or space filler); India #1 with a fake cancel; Malay States: Sungei Ujong #7 unused (catalog value $5,500, needs a cert); Natal #1 revenue usage and #5 reprint; North Borneo #44 trial color proof; couple Samoa Express that are probably reprints; and Sri Lanka 1978 5r imperf pair.
