DEPARTMENTALS:The 'Tamiami' album with very useful remainders rated up to RR - with some likely sleepers based on Ron Butler's unfortunate inclusion in his census of examples in institutionalised collections - and a few higher-rated stamps & other better items including 'C.L.' in Red on Rouletted 2d strip of 4, 'G.P.' in Black on Rouletted 2/- pair, the condition is very mixed but included are many attractive &/or fine to very fine stamps

DEPARTMENTALS: Useful selection from 15 Departments/Users including Red 'G.S.' for 'C.S.' error on 1/- (faults), 'R.B.' & 'T.'; Blue 'G.P.' on DLR Rouletted 2d; and Black 'C.D.', 'E.', 'E.B.', 'H.', 'L.G.', 'L.T.' on 6d, 'P.S.' on 1d 6d & 9d, etc, condition variable but mostly of good to very fine appearance.

DEPARTMENTALS:COLONIAL SURGEON: Black 'C.Sgn.' (seriffed) on DLR Crown/SA Rouletted 2d with Reversed Watermark, GPO cds of AP25/71. Rated RRR. [Superior to the 'Besancon' and 'Tamiami' examples that sold for SFr665 & $1514 respectively]
DEPARTMENTALS:MAIN ROADS GAMBIERTON: Black 'MRG' without Stops on DLR Crown/SA Perf 10 2d brown-orange 'dwarf-jumbo' pair, small internal repair that in no way affects the facial appearance, two bold strikes of the 'GAMBIERTON/MY15/71/S.A' cds are clearly on top of the overprints. Ex Ric Slade-Slade. Rated RRRRRR++: a major rarity of the entire Departmentals series. RPSofV Certificate (2019). [An example with 'M.R.G.' with Stops on DLR Rouletted 2d sold at our auction of 22.6.2019 for $11,650]
DEPARTMENTALS:PRIVATE SECRETARY (to the Governor): Red 'P.S.' on Rouletted 2d vermilion (separation fault at L/R), GPO cds of JY19/69. Underrated R. [The very fine 'Tamiami' example sold for $442]
OVERPRINTED 'O.S.' TYPE 'O1': 1874-77 Large Star Perf 11½-12½ 9d red-violet with No Stop after 'S ' SG O11a, a bit soiled/aged, GPO cds of JU2/83 (?), Cat £2500. An extremely rare stamp. RPSofV Certificate (2019) states "...it is genuine"
OVERPRINTED 'O.S.' TYPE 'O1': 1876-85 Perf 11½-12½ 1/- red-brown with No Stop after 'S ' SG O27b, large-part o.g., Cat £375. Rare: only three unused examples recorded.
OVERPRINTED 'O.S.' TYPE 'O3' (WIDE SPACING): 1891 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 10 5/- pink SG O87, indistinct cancel at the top, Cat £7500. David Brandon Certificate (1997) absurdly states "genuine". RPSofV Certificate (2019) states "...genuine, with cleaned fiscal cancel and pogus postmark". [If the pen cancellation had been left alone, this may well have sold for more than $5000]
PUNCTURED 'SA': 1904-11 Thick 'POSTAGE' Crown/SA annotated pages with mint including 5/- x3 & £1 and used including 5/- x2, plus mint errors comprising Inverted Perfin mint 6d x3 (one used) 1/- & 2/6d, and Triple Perfin 5/-, generally fine to very fine.
