1958 Coastal Airways Ltd. 1d Freight Stamp, a mint never hinged complete sheet of 20 with selvedge at left showing "W&J 19664 / C.A.L. No. 347" inscription. The sheet includes constant variety in stamp 2 (the circle variety in 1 of 1d). Coastal Airways only operated for 5 months between May and September 1958 and very few complete sheets are known. Mint Never Hinged Collection in Three Lighthouse Hingeless Albums with Slipcases, 1967-2004, a very clean collection which is well over 95% complete for the 37 years, with a few early items only (382-404, 434a) being hinged. The collection has the extra overprinted souvenir sheets as well as the 9 sheets for the "Best of 1996-1998". The semi-postals are complete and #s 404A to D are also present. Lot includes 1997 Set/3, 1998 Set/3 (x2), 1999 Set/3 (x4), 2000 Set/3 (x2), 2002 (x1 sheet), 2003 (x2 different), 2004 (x2 different), 2005 and 2006 (one each) and 2007 (x2 different). Listed but unpriced in Campbell Paterson catalogue, unlisted elsewhere and retails for NZ$960 in New Zealand. Scarcest are the sheets from 2003, 2004 and 2007. Also a number of better items that are not listed in Scott, including the 1995 Christmas souvenir sheet from the limited edition phone card pack, with only 3,000 produced (N.Z. retail is $265). Also the 1995 Americas Cup Victory numbered and gold foil overprint mini pane of 10, with limited edition FDC, with only 10,000 produced (N.Z. retail is $135). Also 2 different 1986 Stockholmia overprinted souvenir sheets (N.Z. retail $162) and 3 different Panpex 77 and 82 souvenir sheets (N.Z. retail $100). This set of sheets now sells for $463 in New Zealand. Also, from Limited Editions of 10,000 are The Emerging Years with Scott #s 1133-38, 1188-91, 1145-50 and 1199-1204 and New Zealand Heritage with Scott #s 912-17, 950-55, 964-69, 981-85, 987-92 and 997-1002. Both books include MNH sets of stamps and First Day covers.
