1956 (July) scarce Map PPC with 'Norfolk Island Centenary/1856-1956' h/s in blue, by air to GB with Ball Bay 1/- & chatty message that states "...the people from Pitcairn Island have just celebrated 100 years of settlement here".

1959 (Nov 20) overpaid but apparently commercial airmail cover registered to Canada with rare franking of Ball Bay White Paper 3d emerald & 2/- deep blue x2, 'GPO SYDNEY/AIR' & 'VANCOUVER AMF' transits & Toronto arrival b/s. [FDCs are common but both stamps are very rare on commercial mail. The rate was 2/3d airmail to Europe but only 2/- to Canada + 2/- registration]
