Lot No:1806 Symbol:C 1 July 1930 (NZAC.36) cover from first New Zealand acceptance, Western Australian Airways Ltd/Imperial Airways Ltd. Dispatched from Wellington on 4th July 1930, by sea to Sydney, forwarded by rail to Adelaide, flown Adelaide to Perth, arriving at Fremantle to catch the outgoing mail by sea to Colombo, then overland to Karachi, the Indian terminus of the Imperial Airways service.
