Cat No:Collection
Extensive well-developed Numerals collection in eight expensive Lighthouse binders with many early types including Barred Numerals on Sydney Views, Laureates and Diadems (notably 'BN '36' of Braidwood on apparently imperf 8d), some that pre-date name changes & which are generally much scarcer than in the later periods, many dozens of RRR to RRRRR-rated strikes (some of the higher rated items are indistinct or questionable), some minor duplication, condition variable but with countless fine to superb strikes. Far & away the best collection of NSW numerals that we have offered. Ex 'Tamiami'. [The collection includes many items that are at least the equal of Hugh Freeman's illustrations, and some of which are significantly superior impressions]
