1840-42 1d Mulready envelopes (2) and lettersheets (2), the two envelopes both addressed in the same handwriting to the same person in Edinburgh, one posted locally with red Maltese Cross and July 24 1840 backstamp, the other delivered by hand. The lettersheets posted within London in 1841 with red Maltese Cross, or posted from Stirling to Westerton in 1842 cancelled by a black Maltese Cross, the last with printed Stirling Stamp and Tax Office notice inside. All with file folds but still very reasonable appearance. (4).
