1848-59 Post Paid 2d blue on thin greyish white, early impression, exceptional used vertical pair, positions 8 11 on the plate, neat "socked-on-nose" numeral "2" of Flacq on each, large to huge margins on three sides, clear to wide on fourth (incl. part next stamp at lower right), brilliant colour and excellent impression, upper stamp slight surface rubbing with lower stamp superb, insignificant scissor cut and small tear at margin only between stamps (well away from design), an outstanding multiple (SG £18'000 as singles)
