1848-59 QV 1d. vermilion, EARLY IMPRESSION, sheet Pos. 7, used and cancelled by 'target' ring handstamp in black, fresh colour, outer frameline just touched at upper right otherwise complete to wide margins, small thins (in margins outside design mostly) and lightly oxidized frame, but still an attractive example of this scarce stamp. 1848-59 1d. orange-vermilion on blue paper, early impression, HORIZONTAL PAIR (Pos. 11+12), used and cancelled by doubly circled numeral "1" of Mahébourg (#II G-1 of Kanai handbook), with complete (close to wide) margins all round, fresh colour, sharpe early impression, with small repaired thins at bottom but still fine.
