1869 cover from Singapore to Leghorn, Italy via Brindisi, franked with 1867 8c. on 2a. and 1867-72 24c. both tied with Singapore "D14" duplex and long boxed sender cachet in brown, red "P-D" in oval, small "PD" h/s, small Alexandria '27 Feb 69' transit cds, boxed 'Piroscafi Postali Italiani' and charge marks in m/s alongside, Brindisi '3 Mar' and Leghorn arrival cds on reverse. Addressee cut out and the 24c. adhesive with imperfections (corner fault at lower right, crease due to sender cachet), but still a scarce cover franked with a fine example of the 'Crown & new value' optd. 8c. on 2a.
