1888 cover from Singapore to Germany by French steamer, franked with 1882 8c. orange tied by scarce "SINGAPORE P.O." double-ring h/s in black (Proud K24) and blue 'Katz Brothers Singapore & Penang' sender oval, "SINGAPORE/A/MY.../88" cds alongside, on reverse with octogonal "LIGNE N/PAQ. FR. No.9/31 MAI 88" French ship d/s and '26 June 88' Hennef arrival cds.
