1856-65 Entire letters (4) and covers (2) from India to Jersey, with three stampless 1856-57 items all with "GOVERNMENT / AGENT'S OFFICE" cachets or paper seals, and three 1860-65 entire letters franked 4a green or 8p + 2a + 4a, or to London franked 4a black with a 1d red applied for redirection to Jersey. Also 1876 cover from India to Guernsey franked 2a + 4a. (7).

1857 Entire from the British P.O in Constantinople to Jersey with G.B 6d pair each cancelled "C", red straight line "REGISTERED LETTER" and red British P.O Paid c.d.s on the front, similar British P.O c.d.s (but without "Paid") in black on the reverse, red "(crown) / REGISTERED" and a Paid c.d.s applied in transit in London, backstamped at Jersey. Minor staining and creasing but an attractive entire, the Registered Letter handstamp scarce. Photo on Page 168. (Image1)
