1806-26 Entire letters (2) and entires (6) from Rotterdam, U.S.A, Gibraltar (2), St. John's, Newfoundland (3) or Madeira, all to Guernsey, landed as ship letters in England with Ship Letter handstamps of Dover, London, Portsmouth (2), Bristol, Plymouth Dock (2) or Bristol. (8).

Falmouth Packets - Missent Mail. 1806 Entire from Barcelona to Guernsey with circular "FALMOUTH PACKET LRE" and "MISSENT / to / BIRMINGHAM"; and 1815 entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Guernsey with dated "BRAZIL / F" in green and red oval framed "MISSENT / TO / BIRMINGHAM". (2).

Cove Ship Letter. 1809 Entire from Virginia to Guernsey endorsed "Ship Nancy Capt. Noyes", handstamped "COVE / SHIP LE" (Rob S1) and very unusually endorsed "Ship Letter Office, Cove, 28 July 09", 20mm closed tear at upper edge, otherwise largely fine.

Falmouth Packets. 1810 Entire letter from Philadelphia and 1814 entire from Halifax, Nova Scotia "P. Francis Freeling Packet", both to Guernsey with green dated "AMERICA / F" datestamps applied at the Falmouth Packet Office, the first a fine strike in a deep green. (2).

Rochester Ship Letter. 1813 Entire from Palma, Majorca to Guernsey backstamped by very scarce single oval "SHIP LETTER / (crown) / ROCHESTER" (Rob. S3), disinfected at Stangate Creek by splashing with vinegar, the address panel with two small holes, the reverse with the ship letter handstamp fine and attractive. Photo on Page 168. (Image1)

1872 Cover from the British P.O in Rio de Janeiro to Guernsey with G.B 6d tied by unclear numeral cancel, fine red oval "INSUFFICIENTLY / R DE J / PREPAID", charged 6d, backstamped at Rio de Janeiro, London and Guernsey (3 times).
