EARLY POSTAL STATIONERY & COMMERCIAL MAIL COLLECTION: Small box with the c.1859-1950s range of cards & covers. Mostly unused Postal Stationery postcards, lettercards. regd. envs., wrappers, etc. Much QV with several better "SPECIMEN" examples from QV-KGVI. We note the exceedingly rare QV 50c on 8c grey embossed Postal Stationery env. cancelled in red "GENERAL POST OFFICE/[crown]/MAURITIUS" & signed in manuscript. Also, a fragile Feb. 1859 stampless env. ex Liverpool to Mauritius (via Marseilles) with superb double oval "PACKET LETTER/MR 13/1859/MAURITIUS" cancel. A good lot which deserves examination.
