1890's-1930 ca. PICTURE POSTCARDS: Collection of about 150 picture postcards from Zanzibar, all different, many used, some unused, with various scenes including photographs of the 'Shortest recorded War in history', the 1896 Anglo-Zanzibar War of 38 minutes at August 27th, and a lot of other cards incl. scarce items like several 'Panorama' cards, etc., accompanied by the handbook "The Early Postcards of Zanzibar" by P.C. Evans issued by the East Africa Study Circle in 2005. (Image)
