1850's-1950's ca.: Album with more than 40 covers, postcards, FDCs and postal stationery items plus some stamps, from early stampless covers to semi-modern FDCs like Saits & Poets, with registered and special censored mail, airmail covers including several First Flights (plus return flights), also three rocket mail vignettes, several covers used abroad (Burma, especially from Akyab to Germany, or from Persia and others), and some stamps incl. 1854 2a. with part of sheet Wmk, probably from the "ONE ANNA" Wmk, modern varieties, War Fund labels (incomplete booklet), and other interesting and unusual items more as Paquebot cancellations on covers etc.

1852-55, Accumulation of about 90 stamps in a stockbook, with Scinde Dawk ½a. white (creases and stained but genuine), 44x ½a. blue (various dies, colour shades, cancellations, mostly with minor faults, some fine), 25x 1a. red (various dies, colour shades, cancellations, faulty to fine), 11x 2a. green (colour shades, cancellations, more or less outer framelines, several with mostly small faults, fine else), and 8x 4a. including one fine cut-square example, six cut-to-shape, one reprint (with colour shades, various printings, cancellations etc.). An interesting group with stamps in mixed condition.

1855-1946 British India: Collection and duplication of some hundred stamps MINT, housed on stock pages and in a stockbook, from early East India issues including 4a. black on blue paper, with many colour shades, marginal stamps, multiples (blocks of four, some larger blocks), Officials, some varieties (including those of clandestine character), QV issues up to high Rupee values (in pairs), and many more. 1859/1960: Very fine lot of 57 envelopes, picture postcards and postal stationeries including taxed mail, India used Abroad (i.e. Burma, Persian Gulf), incoming mail, better destinations (i.e. Channel Islands, Ireland), air mail, censored mail. 1859-1883 FORWARDED MAIL: Seven covers/part covers from India to Great Britain or inland all forwarded, with respective forwarder handstamps from Bombay, Calcutta, Madras and one cover + contents to London forwarded from there to Leamington.

1865-76 Collection of 14 Queen Victoria East India blocks of four and 2 blocks of six (8p.), 14 of them with sheet margin one side, all mint, some stamps hinged, others never hinged, including blocks of 1865 ½a., 8p. and 1a., 1866 4a., 1868 8a., 1873 ½a., 1874 9p. 1947-1970's, Collection & stock of mint stamps in a stockbook, most of them in quantities, without 1948 Gandhi but with Archeological series (incl. two single 10r.), several sets Saints and Poets, sets of definitives of the 1950's, blocks of four, etc., obviously fresh and fine.

1960/1993, nearly complete mnh. collection in 2 SAFE albums, also incl. se-tenants, souvenir-sheets and some unused postal stationery.

1836-1855: Five covers from India to England or vice versa, with 1836 letter to Bombay bearing boxed forwarder cachet "FORWARDED BY/THOs HAVISIDE & Co/..." (recorded 1834-36), an 1841 letter from England to Calcutta, 1844 letter Bombay-London, 1852 letter from Whitestone to Simla via Bombay & Lahore (datestamps), and 1855 letter from Sattara to England franked by two singles of lithographed ½a. blue and a meanwhile missing adhesive (probably a 1a. which would have completed the 2a. inland fee), in mixed condition. In addition, an 1839 letter of the Bank of Scotland used locally within Edinburgh.

1844-modern: Box containg about 150 covers, letters, postcards and postal stationery, from 1844 British letter addressed to the Secretary of the East India Company and an 1850 letter from Simla to Ireland this collection/accumulation contains registered, insured and censored mail, Field post, several better Airmail covers incl. First Flights, interesting postal stationery etc., pre-independence mostly.

1854-55 Collection of 108 Lithographs and 2a. Typo, with 62 single stamps of ½a. blue plus three covers of all the three dies, 26 singles of 1a. red, Die I, II and III, followed by 9 singles, one pair and one cover (doubtful cancellation, not calcutalted thus) of 2a. green, as well as three cut-square and one cut-to-shape singles of 4a. blue & red plus one cover, mostly good to very fine.
