1851-1901: Mint collection of about 550 Queen Victoria stamps from various British Colonies as from Antigua, Bahamas, Bermuda, British Guiana, Ceylon, Cyprus, Falkland Islands, Gambia, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Straits Settlements, Malta, St. Helena, Seychelles, Trinidad, Zululand and others, with a lot of early stamps (first issues), most attractive (corner) marginal stamps and multiples, some better stamps as from Ceylon (SG 3a, 156, 159 a.o.), or Cyprus (two singles of SG 36, one marginal), Falkland Islands (SG 8x, 11, 11x, 12 27-28, 33-34), Gambia (SG 3a, 14a), and many attractive and valuable stamps more. 14 certificates accompanying this beautiful collection of fresh and almost fine/very fine stamps. The consignor calculated (SG catalog of 2016) a total of £26,000, and with additions for unmounted mint stamps up to about £29,000. A MOST RECOMMENDABLE COLLECTION OF FRESH AND FINE STAMPS.
