1856-1940's "THE POSTMARKS OF ADEN": Collection of more than 600 Indian stamps, QV to KGV., and few others, all used in ADEN, including multiples and many pieces, all tied or cancelled with the wide range of Aden postmarks, from early numeral "124" and the various duplex datestamps to more modern circled datestamps, from ADEN, ADEN-CAMP, ADEN-CANTONMENT, ADEN-STEAMERPOINT, and also from KAMARAN and PERIM ISLAND, KHORMAKSAR, MAALLA and SHEIKH OTHMAN, plus some PAQUEBOT and few WWI datestamps. Some stamps with faults, but nevertheless an uncommon and comprehensice collection. Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium.

1880's-1910 "BOMBAY-ADEN SEA POST OFFICE SERVICE": Collection of about 80 covers and postcards bearing various types of Bombay-Aden Sea P.O. datestamps, from the early types introduced in the 1870's to the late types of 1900-1910, well written up on pages accompanied by detailed descriptions of the Sea P.O. datestamps, the ships carried this item, mostly from Bombay to Brindisi via Aden, Suez etc., with covers, picture postcards (incl. one of the earliest Himalayan picture cards 1902), postcards, insufficiently franked mail, printed matters etc., mostly from India or Burma sent to Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.S.A., plus few sent to India.
