CROSBY FLEURON & PENNY POST MARKINGS, EARLY "MISSENT TO LIVERPOOL" MARKS; 24 May 1834 EL to Cambridge, the rear with Liverpool d.s. and overinked and rare "CROSBY" fleuron across the join in black and the front with a framed "Liverpool/Py Post" h.s. on front plus 1839 front and EL to Durham or Toxteth Park each with scarce "Crosby/Penny Post" h.s. on front and each rated '1'(d) on front. All ex Little and sold in our Sep. 1997 sale for £185.
